The Elkhorn Football team improved it’s record to 4-0 after a 34-20 win over the Boy’s Town Cowboys. Senior running back Graham Nabity rushed for a total of 146 yards and 4 touchdowns to lead the Antlers. In the final minutes of the game, Senior fullback Cole Bowdino rushed a 27 yard touchdown. Senior quarterback Daniel Feickert sealed the win with an interception in the final minutes of the fourth quarter.
Head Coach Mark Wortman said the key moment of the game was when the Antler defense shut down the Boy’s Town offense to secure the win. “I think we were able to slow them up down a little bit,” Wortman said. “They had some explosive touchdowns so finally our defense caught up and were able to stop them.”
The Antlers play at home against Omaha Gross Friday, Sept.23.
