Antlers drown Blue Devils in Sea of Red

The Elkhorn Antlers pulled off a 21-17 win over Class B rival Plattsmouth last Friday. Senior quarterback Daniel Feickert ran for a touchdown to tie the game up in the 1st quarter. Junior Tight End Tanner Bailey later rushed 5 yards for a touchdown giving the team a 7 point lead at halftime. After Plattsmouth scored a field goal, senior running back Graham Nabity ended the game with the winning touchdown.  Nabity lead all rushers 164 yards.

Elkhorn Coach Mark Wortman said overall the team played very well. “The key moment of the game was when we finally held them on defense,” Wortman said. “Our defense came through and played pretty well.

The 6th ranked Antlers play at Boystown Thursday, Sept.15.
